ACLA architecture

Overview

ACLA architecture is an award-winning architecture firm that was established in 1945. It is the first indigenous architectural practice of Trinidad and Tobago, utilizing contemporary tropical design and architecture to deliver spaces and structures that impress and inspire the world.

The practice has been designing a beautiful world with our clients for over 75 years, and is constantly seeking ways to ensure that client's interests are as much of a priority as a building's enduring impacts on the surrounding environment. Ultimately, we create buildings and design spaces for clients who think outside the ordinary and seek to make a visual statement that will be admired, celebrated, and enjoyed today and tomorrow.

The practice was founded by Anthony Clyde Lewis, a fellow of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects and the Royal Institute of British Architects. Today, the firm’s directors are Gary Turton, Laura Narayansingh, and Ricardo Newallo.
