The Trinidad and Tobago Green Building Council is proud to be a part of the Green Infrastructure Conference 2022!

IAMovement in partnership with The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited is happy to launch CGIC 2022 event entitled ‘Green Infrastructure in the Caribbean – Investing to Scale: The Vetiver System (VS) Case Study’ which will be held at Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre on October 25th and 26th 2022. The Conference will be centred around two key thematic areas: (i) Green Infrastructure and (ii) Green Finance, with the inclusion of speakers experienced in both areas, including key discussions around the role of carbon finance in driving green infrastructure and carbon sequestration solutions in the Caribbean.

Green Infrastructure solutions which include alternative green engineering solutions as opposed to traditional grey-engineering technologies, reforestation and conservation, and mangroves, to name a few, are some of those recognized as important elements in our toolbox of solutions as we move towards a more sustainable future.
