Colin Cockburn is the owner of Ecozia Ltd, a company that offers sustainable building solutions specializing in indoor air pollution. Previously he has worked as a business development consultant in the Energy Services and Manufacturing Sectors. He has a Masters Degree in Marketing from the Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and is passionate about preserving the earth’s natural resources and making the planet a more environmentally sustainable place to live. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and water sports. He has been a TTGBC Member for the past 8 years and a board member since 2017.

Joel Le Gendre holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Production Engineering & Management from the University of the West Indies. His key areas of interest revolve around manufacturing – development of systems, process design and improvement, with a special focus on Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing. From this background he developed a passion for sustainability in product design, waste reduction, energy efficiency and circular economy practices.

Joel has been a member of the TTGBC since 2013 and has previously served as Treasurer for periods 2015 to 2016 and 2016 to 2017. He believes that as citizens of the planet and Trinidad & Tobago, the task of proper stewardship of our resources and the environment rests in each of our hands. Education and engaging awareness at all levels of our society are key in developing a strong culture of sustainability in Trinidad & Tobago and the region.

Built up a professional career over 4 decades of experience in dynamic environments worldwide being a Design Architect Strategist leading and engaging multi-disciplinary design teams in all phases of planning & development design for numerous architecture, interior, restoration, landscape, furniture & product design, as well as a Project Coordinator and Quality Assurance Consultant, managing complex end-to-end public and private projects execution.

in T&T, as well as a partner of Design Firms in Europe. Defined as a “Designer with business acumen” he doesn’t have a fixed style and considers himself a “disciple of experience”, focusing on problem solving with the motto “LESS BUT BETTER”.

Social Innovator and Cultural Consultant he is the Founder and Chairman of SIADIF TT and LEADS TT, Independent Chairman/Executive Director of GAIA, Vice-President (PR) of TTGBC, Board Member of THCS, Advisory Board Member of CZITT, Former Vice-President of EUROCHAM TT.

Speaker at Symposiums, Conferences, Workshops and Events about design disciplines in Europe, Latino America and Caribbean, disseminating the importance of the relationship between design and dignity in everyday life and the commitment to public interest Sustainable and Carbon Neutral ideology and design approach.

Ricardo is a Registered Architect and Director of Sustainability at ACLA architecture in Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to embarking on a career in architecture, he developed a multi-faceted background in finance, computing and art, resulting in a diverse skills set and range of interests. This compliments his appreciation of the dialogue between natural and man-made environments, something Ricardo hopes to address throughout his career. Ricardo is currently serving as an Executive Member of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects, Vice-President of the Port of Spain Central Lions Club and has completed his LEED® Green Associate Training with the TTGBC.

Stein is the Principal Architect of Stein Carrington Architect Ltd (established 2019), a full service design consultancy based in Trinidad and Tobago. A Registered Architect with the Board of Architecture Trinidad and Tobago (BoATT) and member of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects (TTIA); he is a creative designer, with a pragmatic vision of design and its implementation. Stein is currently the Treasurer of the Executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects (TTIA) (2018-Present). Stein was a board member of the Trinidad Transport Board, a Presidential Advisory Board of the Ministry of Works and Transport. (2015-2020)

Stein holds a B.Sc Surveying and Land Information from the University of West Indies, St. Augustine and a B.A.Arch Studies and M.Arch from the University of Technology Jamaica. During his time at the University of Technology, Jamaica, Caribbean School of Architecture, Mr. Carrington has been awarded, Best Research Project at the Postgraduate Level, M.Arch 2, 2014/15. Best Academic Performance at the Post Graduate Level M.Arch 1 & 2, Undergraduate Level, B.A. Arch Studies 1 & 4, Honorary Student Award, Year 4. Dean’s List Year 1, 3 & 4, Caribbean School of Architecture Student of the Year (Year 4). Student Award Architectural Design Challenge for Affordable Housing 2012, National Housing Trust, Jamaica (NHT) – w/ Matthew McFarlane.

Adelwyn is an internationally Certified Management Consultant and Project Manager with over twenty-two (22) years of architectural and engineering design, construction, and project management experience gained through work on a number of construction, business, and community based projects throughout Trinidad & Tobago and the southern Caribbean. He is Founder and Managing Director of Ikigai Consulting, holds an BA (Hons) in Business Management from Anglia Ruskin University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from the Henley Business School, is LEED® Green Associate Certified, and an EDGE Expert.

Adelwyn previously served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications from 2015 to 2017.

Devanand Ragbir is a registered Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years experience in all aspects of building construction services. His focus for the last few years has been on sustainable buildings and he is one of the Founding Members and an executive member of the Trinidad & Tobago Green Building Council. Devanand has been certified by the USGBC’s Green Building Certification Institute as a LEED Accredited Professional in Operations & Maintenance of buildings. His objective is to promote and encourage green awareness by educating stakeholders on best practice.
